Halloween Layout

Here is my Halloween LO...This is my Hubby at a Halloween party we had last year..

Ok, so my challenge was to make a man's card using Core’dinations paper/ dry embossing and sanding.

I completely missed the part about making a man's card. I'm blaming it on my sore throat, constant cough, & head throbbin... TFL

Carnival Cruise with BFF

I went on a cruise with my BFF. Not the best cruise I've been on but I was glad to spend time with an old friend of 20+ years.....

Sympathy Card

A friend of my Hubby lost her father Friday night, so he asked me to make a card for her. Sympathy cards are never easy and I hope she likes this one....

Another Faux Quilt Card

Here is another faux quilt card I did. I used a scalloped circle from the Wild Card Cartridge.

Accordian Album

I made this accordian album yesterday at a crop. I like the way it turned out! Close To My Heart sells the album.

My First 5K Run....

I did my first 5k run with my sister. She dusted me! It was pouring rain and I was soaked. But I finished it. I'll probably do another one but I need to practice a little more and GET SOME CONFIDENCE!!!




It's over!!! (Whew...)

Shadow & Her First Vote

Here is a LO of my dog Shadow. He's a cocker spaniel that loves attention, being lazy & FOOD.



I never got a chance to put together a LO of my young one casting her first vote. It was a very special day for her and for me.

This weekend I went to Vegas with a few of my friends and Gurl, did I have a good time. I really wanted to stay! I'm trying to convince Hubby to go but I won't be holding my breath.

First, we rode to the hotel in a limo...Diva style

GASC In Virginia

I went to the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Dulles, Virginia and I had a ball! After eight hours, my head was spinning and my feet was sore but I'll be there again next year..... Here are a few things I won, made and bought.

Happy Father's Day

I did this card for my hubby on Father's Day. Teri is a CTMH consultant and I did this card at one of her card making get togethers. She taught us the embossing technique. I added a few embellishments to the card. I made a few mistakes but.....it's from the heart!

Gifts For Matt's Teachers

My youngest son, Matthew is moving on to High School next year. Since I didn't do anything for the Teacher's Appreciation Day, I made little Thank You boxes for him to give to them. They're supposed Ghirardelli boxes but after I made the first one (purple), I realized that they were too small. The next four I made bigger to hold more chocolate!

You know, I truly believe that teachers, in particular junior high and high school teachers, are the most underpaid, undervalued and underappreciated professionals in the working industry. When I was younger, I wanted to be teacher. But when I got older I realized that you must have patience, willpower and even courage to work with some of today's children. Hats off to those who are raising tomorrow's leaders.....

Father's Day Cards

Here are two shirt cards I did for the weekly Sista's Challenge. I'll probably give them to my brothers for Father's Day. I actually did a third one but I just can't get the stamping right!
